Seaside Casual is a multi-generational family-run operation. The company began as a Rhode Island lumber business before shifting its focus to a material with a very different origin: recycled milk jugs and detergent bottles. Their proprietary EnviroWood process transforms post-consumer HDPE into furniture-grade lumber that is milled, assembled, and finished entirely at their domestic facility. The collections lean into a coastal New England aesthetic, from classic Adirondack chairs to the more contemporary MAD and DEX lines, but the underlying promise is the same: furniture that can be left outside, uncovered, in any climate, for decades.
