Anne Ebel started selling resin benches from Virginia Beach in 1988. From that modest beginning, the company she built is now headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and ships to dealers across North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Ebel occupies a deliberate position in the market: quality that competes with the high end, at a price point that does not require it. Their collections are named for places that evoke warmth and ease (Palermo, Geneva, Portofino), and the design language follows suit, favoring comfort and approachability over statement-making. All aluminum and HDPE wicker used in production is 100% recyclable, and teak components are harvested exclusively from sustainable plantations. Since 2008, every piece produced funds the planting of a tree through the brand's ongoing partnership with Trees for the Future, an organization committed to advancing sustainable agroforestry in developing countries.
